CobolOnRails was the awkwardly-named winning entry in the 2009 PennApps.com Competition. Created in October 2009 by Alexey Komissarouk, Yahel Carmon and Lawrence Tanzman, CobolOnRails aimed to give undergraduate students at the University of Pennsylvania a more user-friendly alternative to PennCourseReview for comparing courses.

Penn Course Review has access to our source code and has been encouraged to incorporate our features. Due to University Policy, we are unable to make CobolOnRails available publicly due in the meantime.
