Zach Goldberg

Zach is a general technology enthusiast who hopes to make the world a better place using science, technology and other manners of tools we have created through the progress of our species. He works by day at Google as an Associate Product Manager in Display Advertising. He has had the pleasure of toying with computers, technologies and electronics for nearly 12 years now and considers himself an enthusiast for all things digital, analog, cosmic and inexplicable.

Alfred Hanssen

Currently, as founder and CEO of Tembo, a technology startup based in Philadelphia and funded by Dreamit Ventures and Startl.org, Alfie is working to create a portfolio of learning-focused social games for 13-18 year olds. Alfie most recently worked as COO of MCW Inc., a not-for-profit organization that provides leadership and entrepreneurship training for young people ages 16-35 in the USA, Tanzania, Rwanda, Sierra Leone, Zambia. Prior to this, Alfie worked as a project manager for Intech Construction in Philadelphia, PA. He earned a BA in fine arts ('01) and an MSE in computer graphics and game technology ('07) from the University of Pennsylvania.

Mark Headd

Mark J. Headd is a Developer Evangelist for Tropo.com, a cloud telephony provider. He has worked in the telephony and call center space for almost 10 years and has developed telephony applications for some of the largest consumer products, pharmaceutical and food product companies in the US. He has worked in 2 different state governments, helping to implement telephony solutions and working as a policy advisor to Governors and other state officials. He has been certified as a VoiceXML Application Developer by the VoiceXML Forum. He writes about telephony and communication technologies on his blog at voiceingov.org

Alex Hillman

Alex is the co-founder of Indy Hall: Coworking in Philadelphia, and Indy Hall Labs, author of Dangerouslyawesome.com and co-author/curator of The Coworking Book, , Master Unsticker at Unstick.me, and an accomplished business and product strategy consultant. In his free time, he's a public speaker and a notorious trouble maker.

Dave Jagoda

Currently, Dave is Director of Technical Talent at Andreessen-Horowitz. Previously, he was a Director of Engineering at Hewlett-Packard. Prior to that, Dave held a variety of positions at Opsware/Loudcloud, including Consulting Engineer, Support Engineer, Development Engineer, and Engineering Manager. Before Loudcloud, he was an Intranet Specialist at Netscape. He has also been a Support Engineer, Sales Engineer, and Software Developer at companies in industries such as Software, Investment Banking, and Telecommunications. He has B.A. in Computer Science from Columbia.

Andrew Kortina

Andrew Kortina is a co-founder of Venmo and was on the early engineering team of Bit.ly. He studied Philosophy and English at the University of Pennsylvania. Kortina likes building things. He takes breaks to play in the fresh air and sunlight.

Josh Kowitt

Josh is the former CEO of Collegeboxes--a national collegiate shipping and storage firm. Named by Inc. Magazine as a "Top 30 Entrepreneur Under 30," Josh led the growth of Collegeboxes to 60 campuses and a 2008 acquisition by Store to Door (now owned by U-Haul). Today, Josh is a second year MBA student at The Wharton School and a former McKinsey Summer Associate. For fun, Josh enjoys flying small airplanes.

Gayle Laakmann

Gayle Laakmann (Penn CS BSE & MSE '05) is the author of two technology oriented books, Cracking the Coding Interview and The Google Resume, and is the founder of two companies. Her first business, CareerCup, is the leading source of technical interview preparation for software engineers. Her second business, Seattle Anti-Freeze, organizes for-profit events and activities for young professionals in the Seattle area using a custom electronic ticketing platform. Gayle has worked as a software engineer for Google, Microsoft and Apple, and is now a second year MBA student at Wharton.

Gabe Weinberg

Gabriel Weinberg (http://ye.gg/) is a founding member of Hacker Angels and the founder of Duck Duck Go, a search engine. Previously he founded NamesDatabase, which was sold to United Online in 2006. Before that, Gabriel went to MIT in Physics and Technology Policy.
